Position Description:

Lead Development Specialist
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Schedule: Full-time

Position Description:
The Lead Development Specialist is responsible for originating appointments for our Commercial Loan Officers, utilizing selling techniques to cultivate relationships that ultimately lead to appointments. Essential functions include:
  • Contacts potential clients with a prepared script to sell the benefits of an appointment with one of our Commercial Loan Officers
  • Advises prospective insurance business owners on impacts of funding business growth
  • 90% of efforts focused on driving sales through outbound sales calls and correspondence
  • Handles multiple tasks with little supervision
  • Works in conjunction with our Sales Team to ensure all appointments are properly documented, tracked & properly updated

Account Manager
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Schedule: Full-time

Position Description:
  • Service OSF's and OSS's loan portfolio
  • Communicate frequently with customers on receiving accurate and timely commission information
  • Ensure all cash collateral accounts are sufficiently funded and reconciled daily
  • Responsible for updating cash and commission log daily
  • Funding Process of Commercial Loans
  • Creation of ACH and wires
  • Sedning monthly invoices to OSS's loan portfolio
  • Work with the collection department to ensure defaults are cured within guidelines
  • Run and review performance reports
  • Responsible for recommendation of refinances, interest only extension, amendments and exception releases
  • Work with sales and underwriting team to increase efficiencies through improved processes

Business Development Manager
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Position Description:
  • Researching actively for potential clients & partners
  • Pursuing and maintaining new business relationships
  • Understanding and obtaining the needs of the clients
  • Preparing various presentations, coordinating partner meetings, and regularly attending trade shows, conferences and events
  • Following up with partners continuously and responding to their inquiries

  • Minimum five years of B-to-B sales experience with concentration in commercial lending and/or the insurance industry with proven ability to close large strategic deals

Senior Analyst, Strategic Markets
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Schedule: Full-time

Position Description:
  • Autonomously conducts financial, industry, and credit analysis including gathering, analyzing, and interpreting all types of credit information, including analysis of collateral at policy level detail; credit; structure; insurance carriers; cash flow and other financial ratios
  • Reviews financial statements, projections and all other relevant financial and non-financial data to develop a succinct analytical foundation for a credit decision
  • Analysis of legal entity organizational structure and key relationships / contracts
  • Determine loan creditworthiness through analysis of credit, cash flow, book of business, carrier contracts and financial statements
  • Projects profitability through detailed financial projections incorporating financial and non-financial issues to structure financial covenants
  • Ensures structuring decisions reflect commitment to strong asset quality
  • Provides value-added feedback to the Director of Underwriting and/or the Credit Committee
  • Prepares comprehensive credit approval summaries for recommendation and presentation to the Director of Underwriting and/or Strategic Markets team
  • Participates in client introductory calls, subsequent information development calls with potential clients and on-site visits
  • May perform due diligence site visits at the prospective clients' and/or seller's agencies
  • Works closely with the Strategic Markets team to advise and structure potential loans
  • Adheres to federal and state regulatory requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics or equivalent experience in credit analysis and/or loan review
  • Prior experience of at least five years in Commercial Banking & Underwriting is required with extensive experience underwriting loan amounts of $5 million to $20 million
    -OR- Insurance industry experience in finance, accounting, mergers & acquisitions or public accounting experience in the insurance industry
    -OR- Private equity or investment banking experience in the insurance industry
  • Must be able to multi-task and work with little direction
  • Experience with commercial loan or transaction closing process
  • Comprehensive understanding of general economic theory as it relates to lending and business
  • Advanced knowledge of credit analysis, underwriting, administration policies and procedures with the ability to analyze risk and make appropriate recommendations to credit policy. Understanding of the need to balance business development with asset quality
  • Deep knowledge of federal and state laws and regulatory requirements specific to commercial lending
  • Ability to organize and meet set performance metrics in productivity, quality, and required service levels
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills. Must have the ability to write succinct credit summary recommendations
  • Unique ability to communicate with potential clients and guide them through the process from a sales and underwriting perspective

Commercial Loan Underwriter
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Position Description:
  • Responsible for loan asset quality
  • Responsible for underwriting and all due diligence for commercial loan files
  • Determine loan creditworthiness through analysis of credit, cash flow, book of business, carrier contracts and financial statements
  • Validate collateral of applicant through analysis of applicants policies in their book of business
  • Administer OSF loan documents for closing of loans

Software Developer

Position Description:
Contribute to the continued leveraging of technology in a growing company. Development is primarily focused on VB.NET utilizing a SQL Server back end database. Commercial Loan Coordinator
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Schedule: Full-time

Position Description:
This position serves as a liaison between the Underwriting and Sales departments. Loan coordinators provide administrative support to the loan process. The coordinator is responsible for starting the documentation process for the loan and entering the collected data into the lending software system. They are also responsible for checking all of the collected information for accuracy and completeness. The coordinator assembles and coordinates the forwarding of materials from the client to the underwriting department for analysis. In addition, coordinator may have to work with 3rd parties and other vendors to obtain necessary information. Communicating all document changes, updates and additions is the responsibility of the coordinator. Candidate will work closely with Sales, customers and Underwriting.
  • Responsible for reviewing loan files for accuracy & completeness
  • Reviews all loan file documents, orders necessary supporting documentation, and requests additional information as needed from borrower
  • Assure that all customer files are complete and in compliance with regulatory and internal policies
  • Maintains positive working relationship with loan officers, third parties and other vendors
  • Provide support to Senior Loan Coordinator & Underwriting team by completing data entry
  • Provide support to Senior Loan Coordinator & Underwriting team by understanding, generating, sending and receiving OSF loan documents to Borrowers
  • Work with borrowers and carriers to facilitate the commission redirect and commission assignment process
  • Evaluation of financial statements, historical trends, projections, cash flow and collateral analysis
  • Responsible for loan administrative duties such as filing, auditing files, and scanning documents
  • Other initiatives deemed necessary to assist the Sales & Underwriting Department in meeting goals and directives to improve company performance

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years Lending or Insurance industry experience
  • Microsoft Office proficiency is required
