An ever debated question in the world of business for both internal and external customers continues to be ‘What is the best way to say Thank You?’  How do you do it within your agency?  Is simply saying ‘Thanks’ enough? Do your employees and customers respond to the other ways?
Some popular ways of late include free educational events, giving great books with a personalized message, highlighting them on your website,  offering a surprise upgrade, hand-written cards, gifts on unusual holidays (such as their half-birthday), gift cards and, of course, sending goodies.

While each of us may have our own preference, in the end, the method you choose is not as important as being sincere in your effort. The fact is, as Harvey Mackay says, “none of us got to where we are alone. Acknowledging someone’s help is a big part of understanding the importance of saying thank you.” So, be sure to let them know their contributions matter and that you appreciate having them as customers and employees. Remember, sincerity is a huge part of the value, so make it personal and make it a priority, as increased loyalties inside and outside the Agency can foster long-term gains.
