Kirsten Petras, Director – Strategic Markets, has a strong understanding of commercial financing for insurance professionals, helping to ensure the funding of many complex, larger loans. Kirsten has over 13 years’ experience in the financial services and mortgage industries. Her diverse background with roles in sales management, loan advising and compliance have provided her with great insight into sales, underwriting and account servicing for larger loans. Kirsten, who holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Marian University, has received several sales leadership awards throughout her career.

As the Director for Strategic Markets Underwriting, Brian Henson specializes in underwriting, arranging, and structuring large loan transactions, mergers and acquisitions. He has 12 years of commercial lending experience, primarily with Midwestern banks. Brian started his career underwriting a loan portfolio of middle-market and large corporate commercial borrowers. Prior to joining Oak Street, he managed a $200 Million national real estate loan portfolio. Brian graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in management and a minor in finance.

Kim joined Oak Street as Vice President Strategic Markets. Kim is a 20-year sales, sales management and lending veteran. Prior to joining Oak Street, Kim held sales management and leadership roles with Bank of America and Oak Street Mortgage along with Account Executive role at Broadridge Financial Solutions. Kim is active in non-profit Arts organizations and has served as a Board Member, Board President and Treasurer.

Brad Kronland, Vice President – Strategic Markets, has worked in commercial lending for over 17 years managing key relationships and portfolios. He has helped structure larger commercial loans for companies in several industries and specialized in servicing publicly traded companies in the insurance industry. Brad has won awards for his strong ability to identify and develop capital opportunities with new and existing clients. He holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in business and finance from Butler University.
