INDIANAPOLIS (November 3, 2016) – Recognized as one of Indiana’s top places to work, Oak Street Funding provides associates with opportunities to participate in a numerous charitable events and activities. The funds are used for different charities, such as the Red Cross and Susan G. Komen.” Dennen added, “It makes me proud that our employees bring us opportunities to pay it forward to the community. We give 8 hours of paid volunteer time every year to allow employees support a cause of his or her choice.”
“We have a robust company giving platform,” added Kathy Yeary, Executive Director of HR and Servicing for Oak Street Funding. “Some of our donations include Angel Tree, Riley Cheer Guild, Special Olympics, HEROS Foundation and United Way, and we also organize group volunteer activities annually for organizations such as Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, amongst others.”
“Most recently, we held an internal contest to see which department could collect the largest donation for Second Helpings,” stated D. Scott Clarke, COO of Oak Street. “The teams were very spirited and made it a fun competition, and we ended up with several thousand pounds of food for Second Helpings. The giving is important and so is the team work and camaraderie. At Oak Street Funding, we define success by the quality of the relationships we have with our employees, our clients and our community,” added Clarke.
